Minecraft and Me

Greywulf, over at his blog, created an inspiring dungeon based off of what I believe was a 4th edition module. It got me to purchase the software/game that he used to make it, (MineCraft), and... I am hooked! You hear me? I am hooked! I can't believe how much I love this game and the graphics are blocks! I mean, come on, with all the 3D accelerated 'realism' out there, who would want to play a block game? Me apparently! Just goes to show you that graphics only get you so far.

Any hoo, that is what I have been doing 12-14hrs a day during the holidays rather than P&P RPGing. Check out MineCraft, well worth the 13 dollar American!

Been Mapping...

So, yea it has been a while since I have posted. I have been chasing another interest... cartography. I wanted to see if I could come up with something a little more professional and tried a tutorial I found on the Cartographer's Guild for Gimp.

This is what I came up with thus far:

It is far from complete based on the tutorial. Perhaps as I get time I will finish it off.
